Dear Mercaz Friends and Supporters,

It is with great enthusiasm that we announce our first giving campaign: “Learning for Life”.  Mercaz was founded in 1992 to fulfill the important need of providing quality continuing Jewish education for the youth of Cincinnati following their Bar/Bat Mitzvah. For more than 15 years, Mercaz has provided high quality educational programs for the teens in our community. We have given them the opportunity to expand their Jewish knowledge and strengthen their Jewish identity.  Hundreds of Mercaz graduates have gone on to be involved members of their chosen Jewish communities.

Mercaz is a community school that is open to any Jewish teen in eighth through twelfth grades. Our goal is to strengthen our students’ Jewish identities by providing a rich Judaic curriculum with opportunity for social interaction. “Learning for Life” means providing an environment that encourages students to continue their Jewish education throughout their lives. Your financial support makes it possible for us to work towards this goal.

With your gift to the “Learning for Life” campaign, you help us to:

· Create additional educational and cultural programming for our students

· Attract and retain high quality faculty

· Purchase innovative curriculum

· Participate in faculty and curriculum training seminars

· Acquire up-to-date equipment

· Increase social opportunities for our students
